I am developing diagnostic instrumentation for the National Spherical Tokamak Experiment (NSTX-U) at PPPL (Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory). The goal of this instrument is to provide position and time dependent information of the fusion reactivity in the plasma.
- Information on a prototype operated at MAST you can find MAST prototype
- A new prototype for NSTX-U is currently under construction
There are always opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in the ongoing effort. If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact me.
